This work is a major evolution in my anamorphic sculptures.  It is both oil painting and sculpture.  A painstaking project of painting the hand in oil using only the reflection as a reference.

This drawing is on an original page from The Daily Telegraph 1952 is inspired by the image of Alan Kurdî‎, a three-year-old Syrian refugee who drowned on 2 September 2015 in the Mediterranean Sea.
