Yifat, my inspiring life partner and I, have been creating artwork together for a decade now. This work is inspired by our life together, the journey we have taken and the place we find ourselves now. Meditating together. Meditating about who we are, Meditating about what and who we want to be. Meditating over where we want to take our artistic practise both spiritually and practically.

Within the confines of this cylindrical canvas, a metamorphosis occurs, where Yifat and her partner, Jonty Hurwitz, are revealed in two distinct yet profoundly interwoven realities. In the physical realm, Yifat emerges embodying a classical divine presence, like a celestial being gracing the artist's life.
Yet, it is within the reflection that the artwork's true alchemy transpires, inviting us into a deeper understanding of the power of love and partnership. Here, their intertwined hands take centreembodies stage.
The abstract reflection becomes a conduit of their shared existence, a testament to their journey together.
As we contemplate this anamorphic revelation, this transformation encapsulates the very essence of love. The archetype of the powerful self gracefully gives way to a profound truth—the enduring strength of connection and togetherness.
For the artists Yifat and Jonty, their hands, meditating together, represent an act of serene contemplation and a symbol of their shared aspirations and intertwined destinies.
As we experience this artwork, we are spectators and participants in the meditation. We witness the transformative power of togetherness, which guides us through life's intricate maze and illuminates our souls.

In this inscription, we express the profound harmony inherent in the mathematical beauty of the Golden Ratio (phi) through the symbolic representation of Yin and Yang as the variables in the equation. Just as Yin and Yang embody the duality and balance of opposing forces in the natural world, the Golden Ratio represents a divine proportion found throughout nature and art. The equation visually illustrates how these seemingly contrasting elements, when combined in the right proportions, create a harmonious whole. This piece serves as a reminder that the universe itself is a complex equation of physics and spirituality, where disparate elements come together to form a perfect unity.

On this piece we decided to bake a philosophical equation into its fabric, to come out with it and make a statement. It talks about the organic and infinite nature of spirituality, connecting it back to the basic building blocks of life.
